How this site makes money.
CalcBusiness is free to use and does not require an account. Some links to third-party software earn us a commission when a reader signs up. This page explains exactly how that works and what it does not affect.

What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is an ordinary link with a tracking code attached. If you follow it and later start a trial or a subscription, the vendor pays us a referral fee. It is the same arrangement a shop has with a supplier who sends customers its way — the difference is that on the web it is invisible unless the site tells you, which is why this page exists and why every monetised link on the site is labelled where it appears.
The price you pay never changes
A commission is paid by the vendor out of their own marketing budget. Signing up through a link on this site costs you exactly the same as going to the vendor directly, and in some cases the vendor offers a better introductory rate through a partner link.
We recommend the same tools either way
Recommendations are based on what actually fits the job described on the page. Where a free option is genuinely better than a paid one, the page says so — most of the tools on CalcBusiness are free precisely because paid software is unnecessary for many of these tasks.
Every commercial link is marked
Monetised links carry a rel="sponsored" attribute and are accompanied by a disclosure next to the link itself, not only here. If you do not see a disclosure beside a link, that link earns us nothing.
We only list software we would describe accurately
A vendor cannot pay to be added, to be ranked higher, or to have a limitation removed from a comparison. Where a tool has a real drawback — a short trial, a weak mobile app, a confusing pricing tier — that drawback stays in the text.

No affiliate program is active at the moment. Every outbound link to third-party software on this site is currently an ordinary editorial link and earns us nothing. This page will list the vendors here as soon as that changes.

The calculators, invoice tools, and PDF tools themselves stay free and require no account. PDF processing runs in your browser, so those documents are never uploaded and never form part of any commercial arrangement.
Regulatory basis
Disclosures follow the US FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and, in Canada, the Competition Act as applied through Ad Standards’ disclosure guidelines.
