Crop PDF trims the displayed area using margins measured in PDF points, with 72 points equal to one inch. It can hide scanner borders, extra whitespace, or registration marks across every page. It is not the same as permanently erasing the hidden material.
Because underlying content may remain in the file, cropping is unsuitable for concealing confidential information. The same margins apply throughout the document and can cut useful content on pages with different layouts. Test conservative values and inspect edge pages before distribution or printing. Keep the uncropped source for records.

Your file never leaves your device
